Welcome to King's Neuroscience, where we are committed to answering some of the most difficult questions in science. Uniquely placed within the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) we work within the wider context of mental health as a whole. We have innovative research themes – from development to old age, diseases and disorders to healthy ageing. King’s Neuroscience seeks to understand how our brains work, to improve all our lives.

We work closely with three large NHS Trusts as part of King’s Health Partners to increase understanding of diseases and improve treatments for patients. As part of King's Health Partner Neurosciences, we focus on the interface between mental and physical health, which align with the priorities of the school.
