Highly cited 2023

The Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience (IoPPN) is proud to announce that 30 of our academics have been named on the annual Highly Cited Researcher 2023 list from Clarivate released today.

The highly anticipated annual list identifies researchers who demonstrated significant and broad influence in their chosen field or fields through the publication of multiple highly cited papers during the last decade. Their names are drawn from the publications that rank in the top 1% by citations for field and publication year in the Web of Science™ citation index.

This year’s list continues to recognise researchers whose citation records position them in the very highest strata of influence and impact. Of the world’s population of scientists and social scientists, Highly Cited Researchers are 1 in 1,000.

The impact of IoPPN’s work is global, and it’s fantastic to see so many of our researchers on this year’s highly cited list. Congratulations to all our highly cited researchers – it’s a testament not just to their expertise but also to the world class research environment we cultivate at the faculty.
