Towards a cavity-free future

The Policy Institute, King's College London held a series of "Policy Labs" in conjunction with the Positive Policy Change Network - a branch of the Alliance for a Cavity-Free Future (ACFF), which influences and advises on policy to improve oral health. They were joined by teams from the Deparment of Health, NGOs and other practitioners in the field. The discussions focused on how to shape new policy to catalyse change within health systems and ensure that prevention is moved up the agenda.

  • Create prevention payment systems
  • Expand and equip the dental workforce and increase inter-professional collaboration
  • Shift public and industry behaviours
