The best part of being abroad was being in the centre such a busy, vibrant city, and study it’s culture and economic development and university. Ten minutes out of the city centre, there were beautiful nature hikes and beaches to visit.

Kelsey

Kelsey is currently in her final year of study at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. She studied abroad at King's during spring of 2018. Since returning to Georgetown she has become a Peer Outreach Coordinator for Georgetown's Global Mobility Office due to her positive experience at KCL.

I took courses in philosophy, history, political economy, and theology during my time at KCL. Although I spent half as many hours in the classroom, I made the same good marks at King's as I do at Georgetown and felt I thrived because of the additional time I had off campus. My favorite memory of KCL is hanging out with friends I met through a course at the Philosophy Bar. I also made incredible memories abroad traveling and crossed a total of 17 countries off my bucket list and took a ton of a day trips around the UK. I recommend a semester abroad to anyone!
