Biography

Joseph Choonara studied Natural Sciences at Cambridge University in the late 1990s. He later moved into political economy, completing a doctorate on employment precarity in the UK labour force at Middlesex University (2014-2017). He taught on the Politics, Philosophy and Economics programme at Goldsmiths, University of London, before moving to King's College in 2018.

Research

Joseph researches political economy with a particular interest in class, employment, insecurity, labour markets and Marxist theories of finance and crisis.
