Say hello to our new Student Life Content Creators!

A collage of nine students on a green background and stars

After a great first year led by our six Content Creators including Ken, Giulia, Michelle, Neha, Akshara and Duy-Anh, the Student Life Content Creators programme is back with even more energy and this time we have nine students from across King’s on board.

We are really excited to introduce this year’s group, as it means more voices, more perspectives and more student content throughout the year.

These Content Leads are a brilliant mix of talented students who will be giving you a real look at what life as a King’s student actually feels like. They will be sharing campus moments, helpful tips and authentic stories that reflect the experiences of students across King’s.

The programme runs from Wednesday 5 November 2025 to Friday 31 July 2026, so you will have plenty of opportunities to see their work in action via Student News, the student hub, King’s Student App and Instagram throughout the year.

But before we get into all of that, the Content Leads wanted to say a quick hello so keep reading to meet the newbies and find out what they are most excited for this year.

If you want to see what last year’s group got up to, you can catch up here.

Ariadna 'Ari' Chaban

Hello everybody!

My name is Ariadna and I am a current international MSc Neuroscience student at King’s.

As soon as I discovered the Student Life Content Creator programme, I knew I wanted to take part on it because it connects my passion for communication, my interest in engaging with the community, and my future aim to make scientific and academic content available and transparent to anyone that’s interested.

As a student coming from Argentina, I also know what is like to be in a big city like London for the first time and how overwhelming it can be. I hope this programme can let me share with you my most useful tips and allows me to support you on this wonderful experience!

Fun fact: I love doing extreme sports, like skiing and horse showjumping

Feel free to reach me on LinkedIn and Instagram.

Parmiss Sabet

Hi! I’m Parmiss, and I’m a second-year Classics student here at King’s.

I joined the Student Life Content Creators programme because I’ve always loved media and storytelling, and I really want to grow my skills in content creation. I’ve lived in London my whole life, so I know how big and intense the city can feel when you first arrive. I want to help make it feel smaller, warmer, and more like home. I’m really looking forward to getting more involved in the King’s community, meeting new people, and helping students feel connected, seen, and supported.

A fun fact about me: I have my own radio show on KCL Radio, so if you ever want to hear me chat even more, you know where to find me!

Connect with me on my Instagram or Linkedin, I’m always down to talk!

Mabel Asare

Hi, my name is Mabel Asare, and I am a 2nd-year psychology student. I wanted to join the Student Life Content Creators Programme because it offers a chance to express my creative side along with my studies. As a psychology student, I often think broadly about the various career paths available to me, which motivates me to try many different things. I believe that content and communication more broadly is an interesting way to apply my skills and dive headfirst into something that is a blend of my skills as a psychology student and also my design experience.

I'm looking forward to highlighting the benefits of attending university in London, as well as the opportunity to engage with students. A fun fact about me is that I managed to name 407 tube stations on the London Tube guesser game.

Christie Yeihoo cho

Hi everyone! My name is Christie and I’m a MA student in Cultural and Creative Industries. I am originally from Seoul, South Korea with a BA in Theatre, and this is my first time living in London!

I am truly excited to be part of the Student Life Content Creator programme! I look forward to creating inclusive and practical content that helps our students feel represented and supported. After spending my first two months in London, I’ve realised that the experience can feel overwhelming and a bit lonely at times—but trust me, you’re not alone. We’re navigating this together, and I’ll do my best to share what I’ve learned along the way.

Fun fact: I am obsessed with Minions and can recite songs in Minion-ese (Bello!).

You can connect with me on Instagram or LinkedIn!

Lily Gershon

Hi, everyone! My name is Lily, and I am a Master's student studying Contemporary Literature, Culture and Theory after graduating from Durham University with a degree in English Literature over the summer. I was born and raised in Hong Kong, and I have a passion for storytelling, media, and how language shapes our understanding of the world. I wanted to join this programme because it offers the chance to combine creativity with real-world impact by being able to provide content for King's Students by King's students.

Amy Smith

My name is Amy, and I am a third year International Development student at King’s. I grew up in England, but I absolutely love to travel, having spent two years in Latin America before starting my degree, volunteering with environmental and human rights NGOs along the way.

I am also a very vocal person, and I like to speak out for what is right – it is for this reason that I wanted to join the Programme, to help other students to use their voices for good at King’s. I know that students often struggle to know how to have their voice heard within such a big university, and so I hope to be able to create content which bridges that gap.

Fun fact about me: I have been vegetarian since I was 12!

Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn.

Aisha 'Tisha' Mohamed

Hi! My name is Tisha and I’m a first-year undergraduate studying Digital Media & Culture. One fun fact about me is that I’ve watched Brooklyn Nine-Nine so many times that I can quote every single episode.

When I saw that King’s was looking for Student Content Leads, I thought it was right up my alley — especially since I did a lot of content creation during sixth form.

I’ve always been really into all things creative, whether that’s drawing, dance, or design, and I’m super excited to have this opportunity to support and connect with the amazing community at King’s in the best way I know how. The Student Content Management team and the rest of thecontent leads are all incredibly kind and supportive, and I’m really looking forward to working with them for the rest of the year!

Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn!

Saswat Pattnaik

Hi, I am Saswat Pattnaik, currently studying for my MSc in Clinical Psychotherapy. I joined the Student Life Content Creators programme to take my passion for storytelling forward and to develop transferable skills that I can use in both my academic and professional life. I am excited to create fun and engaging content that helps other King’s students feel more connected to campus life.

A fun fact about me is that I used to be a national athlete and was scouted for the Indian Olympic Team. I also have lots of random niche knowledge, and when I am not otherwise engaged, you will probably find me flying planes or racing F1 cars on a simulator. I love hiking, photography and music.

Sin Nga Vong (Chloe)

Hi everyone! I’m Chloe, a second-year Digital Media and Culture student at King’s.

I’m thrilled to join the Student Life Content Creators programme, where I can connect with fellow students, get more involved with the King’s community, and enhance my content creation skills. I always held a passion for storytelling and finding creative ways to inspire others, in which I have been involved in creative photography and videography content on Instagram capturing the poetic nuance of everyday life. Looking forward to growing creatively and professionally while improving student’s life at King’s!

Fun fact: I love collecting postcards rather than souvenirs - and I pick travel destinations based on what I can eat there. Repetition (especially in food) is my enemy.
