Want to learn more about wellbeing?

An image of three students sat at a desk with laptops in front of them, all look towards the front of the room smiling.

The Time to Thrive team are excited to invite you to their research study evaluating Time to Thrive, an online wellbeing programme launching on KEATS on Monday 30 January 2023.

Time to Thrive was specifically developed by researchers at King’s, in consultation with King’s students, for undergraduate students and they would like to find out its effects on your wellbeing.

This programme covers the essential wellbeing guidance you need when transitioning through university life. From dealing with stress, growing resilience, overcoming procrastination and impostor syndrome, to achieving goals and exploring different ways to look after yourself.

If this sounds interesting to you, the Time to Thrive team would like you to join their research study!*

What’s involved?

Each week a new topic will be released full of engaging and informative videos, case studies, quizzes and reflective exercises. The programme is completely optional and self-paced, so you can engage with it however and whenever you want over the course of its six weeks.

Time to Thrive will run over 6 weeks and will cover the following topics:

  • Emotions: Stress, resilience and positive emotions
  • Meaning & Engagement: Values, purpose and the solution-focused approach
  • Relationships: Social Connectedness and loneliness
  • Achievement: Achieving goals, overcoming procrastination and impostor syndrome
  • Living better: Nurturing ourselves and improving our living
  • Driving change: Navigating transitions and developing self-growth

What are the benefits?

All Time to Thrive participants will receive a certificate of attendance to help you demonstrate your acquired employability skills and enrich your CV. As this is a research project, you may be allocated to a control group. Participants in the control group will receive access to the Time to Thrive material later in 2023.

Taking part in this study involves engaging fully with the programme and completing a brief survey at the beginning and the end for the chance to win one of 100 x £10 Love2Shop vouchers.

Additionally, there will be the option to participate in a feedback interview for a £10 Love2Shop voucher at the end of the programme.

If you would like to learn more about how to take care of your wellbeing as you go through life at university, then the Time to Thrive team would love to have you join their research study!
