We want to hear from you about how King's can tackle global challenges

A young male student in a library using a laptop.

For over 200 years what has defined and distinguished King’s is the belief that knowledge can be used to make the world a better place.

This is the promise of the university’s Vision 2029, which builds upon our history of making a significant contribution to society and takes us to our 200th anniversary in 2029.

Much has changed since it was developed – from climate changes to health inequities, from political marginalization to educational disparities. Which challenges to tackle? Where to put our effort? Where can King’s make the biggest difference?

King’s has a unique opportunity to harness our knowledge to tackle such challenges. We need you to help us decide.

There is currently impressive work underway across King’s: from using disruptive technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics to tackling societal issues and influencing policy development across a range of social issues.

However, there may be other opportunities where we can purposefully use our knowledge and work collectively to tackle pressing societal and global challenges, make a distinctive contribution and maximise our impact locally, nationally and globally.

Have your say

We’d love to hear from you about what challenges you feel we can tackle together, and your views on potentially new and innovative ways to approach these issues.

All views with be collated by the One King’s Impact team and findings will be reviewed and shared in the new academic year.

Complete our impact survey

We invite you to complete our short impact survey to help us understand ways we can collectively have the biggest impact on the world.

The survey closes Friday 22 July 2022.
