King’s Online is a unit within King's College London that supports the development of online programmes with departments and faculties.
King's Online formed in November 2015 and is rapidly expanding as King's embraces online learning. King's recently released its Strategic Vision 2029, with a committment to become the UK leader in online and blended learning by 2029.
Instructional Design & Development
The Instructional Design & Development team is made up of project managers, instructional designers, learning technologists, multimedia developers and cinematographers who work with departments to bring their content to life.
The team works in partnership with faculties to develop fully online postgraduate programmes, Master's degree programmes, blended programmes and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs).
The IDD team is responsible for:
- Providing advice on how to develop new programmes
- Assisting in the development of new programmes from approval stage through to programme delivery
- Giving technical advice on all aspects of running online programmes.
