Module selections

This information is for students not currently at King's. Current King's students should refer to information on the King's internal website.

King's College London, Denmark Hill Campus

If your application to intercalate at King's is successful and your programme involves any optional modules, you must complete the module selection form by 24 April 2020.

Information on core and optional modules is given on the individual programme pages.

If your chosen programme does not include optional modules

Then we will automatically register you for all modules on your programme and no action is necessary.

If your chosen programme does include optional modules

Then you will need to make your choices from a module database and complete the module selection form below.

When selecting modules, please make sure:

  • Your choices amount to 120 credits
  • A minimum of 105 credits are at level 6
  • Modules are evenly split across the academic year (60 credits in each semester)
  • There are no clashes. Check your chosen modules are not taught on the same day in the same semester (details are provided in the module database).
  • For students coming to King's from another university
  • Personal details
  • Select modules
    You must ensure that all the modules you take on your IBSc total 120 credits and that you are taking a library or research project module.

Important information

Some optional modules have a limited number of places available. These are known as capped modules and the number of places is listed on the module database. King's cannot guarantee that any student will receive a place on any capped module unless it is a core component of their intercalated BSc programme.

The allocation of places on capped modules takes place during July/August, you will be notified via the email address provided in your application. Unsuccessful applicants will be invited to select an alternative module as soon as possible.
