Undergraduate Summer School

Our Undergraduate Summer School programme offers experiential research-based teaching through workshops, seminars and lectures tailored for undergraduate students who have completed at least one year of study. Whether you are currently at university or graduated some time ago and just fancy learning something new, you can join our Summer School.

Two-Week Sessions

These sessions run from Monday to Friday in a two-week period, giving students the opportunity to explore different subject areas in each session.

For more information, please check the Courses tab further down on this page.

Six-Week Biomedical Engineering Research Programme

Students joining our six-week Biomedical Engineering Research Programme can undertake their own research project in Biomedical Engineering at King’s. This is an excellent opportunity to explore becoming a researcher and solving real life problems, whilst preparing you for the next phase of your education. Over this six-week period, students will work on an academic research project aligned with current research areas in the school of Biomedical Engineering, carrying out experiments to develop a solution to a pressing medical problem. During the programme, students will be based at St Thomas' Hospital.

English Language & Culture

This year we are pleased to introduce then English Language & Culture module available in Session 1 (6 – 17 July 2026). This programme offers students a chance to improve their confidence, fluency and communication skills in the English language.
