We are 1st in London and in the top 10 of Religious Studies departments in the UK.

King's TRS is a vibrant department in the heart of London, training students in philosophy, ethics, politics, sociology, anthropology, theology, history, biblical studies and classical languages.  We make the most of London’s rich culture, and our students learn from the city's museums, galleries, and sites of religious practice, as well as in the classroom.

Our staff include world-renowned experts in Islam, Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, and contemporary religious movements.  Recent publications by King's TRS researchers give a taste of our wide-ranging interests.

We are proud of our diverse student community, who come to King's TRS from across the UK and around the world.  Our graduates follow career paths in the arts, public policy, education, media, business, finance, and many other sectors.
