About the author

Hi there! I'm Peter Gallivan, Outreach Manager at King's, in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences. It's my job to help our scientists and engineers open up their research to young people just like you. I'm excited for you to meet all the interesting people I've interviewed, and find out all about what life is actually like as a working scientist.

As well as working at King's, I am a children's science author. I write for The Week Junior Science+Nature Magazine and have recently published two non-fiction books with DK Books. I hope you enjoy reading these stories!
