Biography
-
Ph.D. Cell Biology, University of Glasgow 1972
-
B.Sc.(Hons) Zoology, University College London 1968
Past Appointments
-
Lecturer in Cell & Developmental Biology, Queen Elizabeth College London, 1972-1985
-
Royal Society/Leverhulme Trust Visiting Research Fellow 1985
-
Lecturer, then Reader in Cell Biology, King’s College London, 1986-1996
Research Interests
My research is directed towards understanding the molecular mechanisms regulating directed cell movements and adhesion turnover. Much of the laboratory effort is coordinated with that of some of my colleagues in the Cell Motility & Cytoskeleton Section; Graham Dunn, Anne Ridley and Maddy Parsons.
