Professor Ajay Shah - Executive Dean

Ajay Shah is Executive Dean of the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine and leads the Faculty's academic and strategic direction. He is the James Black Professor of Medicine, British Heart Foundation (BHF) Professor of Cardiology, Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at King's College Hospital and a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences. As Director of the King’s BHF Centre of Research Excellence, he has established an internationally leading unit at King’s that has been instrumental in generating cardiovascular advances from bench to bedside.

Peter Bond - Director of Operations

Peter Bond leads the professional services team in the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine. Working with the Executive Dean, he is responsible for Faculty strategy, planning, resources and operations. His responsibilities span education delivery and support, communications, health and safety, diversity and inclusion, research and impact and Faculty governance.
