Research Staff Network Committee

What we do

The Research Staff Network Committee represents the interests of research staff, Research Associates, Assistants, Technicians and Teaching Fellows across the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine (FoLSM). We ensure FoLSM research staff are represented and participate in decision-making at faculty and college level. We aim to facilitate FoLSM research staff development by championing local research staff networks being a source of information and support to school, departmental and role specific networks. We do this by interacting with FoLSM and Research & Professional Development Departments across KCL such as the Centre for Research Staff Development and KCL Careers Services to promote career development opportunities, forums for peer-mentoring, information exchange and advocacy.

In short, we work to improve the experience and career development of research staff within FoLSM.
