King’s Academy hosts a monthly Lightning Lunch, providing an informal platform for colleagues across King’s to come and share news of initiatives, teaching practice, works in progress, technology innovation and educational research.
They are capped at 5-7 minutes, with a standard session having 3-4 speakers, with some time for questions after each lightning talk, and ending with a collective Q&A for the participants. These are open to King’s staff only, but some talks will become KED Talks – which will be available to King's colleagues and in some cases to colleagues outside of King’s.
