Rehabilitation

Academic rehabilitation was established at King’s College London with an endowment from the Dunhill Medical Trust and is led by the Northwick Park Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine, Professor Lynne Turner-Stokes

We improve the lives of rehabilitation patients through world-leading translational research and widespread collaboration with clinicians, researchers and policy makers. By working in close collaboration with the world-renowned Regional Hyper-acute Rehabilitation Unit, we have significantly improved specialist rehabilitation services for people with severe and complex disabilities. We also work with the Department of Health & Social Care, NHS England, the British Society of Rehabilitation Medicine and the Royal College of Physicians to develop important national policy changes.
