Embracing works in ten languages and covering five continents, the study of Comparative Literature at King's commands a unique global and historical reach across the world’s literatures, including Middle Eastern, Asian, African, Caribbean and European literature. Similarly, our Department is characterised by the international and cosmopolitan mix of our students and staff, as well as the international links we have fostered.
To continue this distinctive aspect of 'Comp Lit', the Department has partnered with several European and American universities, as well as launching several engaging outreach programmes to widen participation in this exciting, individual academic discipline.
