Make Do Play

Did you know that drawing lowers your heart rate? Dancing and singing reduces stress? Craft increases your ability to focus? And if you feel better, you do better – in study and in your day-to-day life.

Make Do Play is an annual programme that invites students to come together to explore how getting involved in creative activities can enhance mental wellbeing.

It features short, fun activities co-designed by King’s students to inspire participants to get creative in an enjoyable, relaxed environment and to help you on your way to understanding what helps you feel great, whatever life throws at you.

This year’s Make Do Play will take place on 18-24 March 2019

What you can expect:

Online: Daily prompts for quick and simple creative tasks to help you unwind, get inspired, and stay well.

Across our four campuses: Introductory workshops, drop-ins and pop up stalls on a range of creative activities that are proven to enhance wellbeing, including pop choir, life drawing, spoken-word, woodwork, textiles, fashion.

Sign up for the launch party now and check out the other workshops here.
