Be part of London's literary history

Did you know the Strand, where King's is based, was once the centre of London's print and book trade? You can walk in the footsteps of Charles Dickens and George Eliot right outside our campus, and explore remnants of the city's 19th century publishing industry.

Studying at King's gives you quick access to London's iconic cultural and historical sites – but through our teaching, you'll uncover the city's hidden histories and forgotten stories too, adding vital context to your understanding of the area.

Watch our walking tour with Dr Brian Murray to learn more about the Strand's literary past.
