Postgraduate Courses

Study at one of the leading French departments in the UK, ranked top in the Complete University Guide 2019 in London.

Department of French teaching at postgraduate level is of consistently high quality: In the 2019 Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES) for example, 100% of our master's students said they were satisfied with their experience on their programme.

Based in the centre of London, our location offers access to a variety of galleries, theatres, specialist libraries and resources, including the Institut Français.

Our Modern Languages, Literature & Culture master’s degree offers you the opportunity to study French or a combination of languages at master’s level including German, Spanish or Portuguese and to explore not only the language but also the literature and culture of the countries where these languages are spoken in more depth.
