German Studies has been taught at King’s since 1831, and we are one of the oldest and largest Departments in the country. We are very proud of the friendly, diverse and vibrant community at the heart of our Department. We have been ranked number one for German in London for half a decade, and are consistently listed as one of the top Departments in the country. But it’s not just the league tables that show our excellence: our students tell us this too.
In the 2016 National Student Survey, we achieved a 100% overall satisfaction and a 100% teaching satisfaction rating from our students. Our staff also won the Faculty’s Teaching Excellence and Supervisory Excellence Awards in 2018: a real reflection of the passion and commitment to German Studies at King’s.
Due to the shift in remote working, phone calls will not be answered, and all enquiries should be directed to department email accounts. Enquirers can request a call-back when they email if they’d like to communicate via phone rather than email.
