Global Day of Service

Make a difference in March and support King's Global Day of Service

Each year in March, alumni take part in a range of volunteering activities across the world as part of King’s Global Day of Service. It’s a great way to celebrate the ongoing contributions of our alumni who give back year-round and live out King’s ‘ethos’ of service, making a difference in local and national communities.

Service is in our DNA at King’s. Founded in March 1829 to serve society; giving back is an important part of what we do. Find out more about how you can get involved in the next Global Day of Service below or please reach out to us at

If you’re based internationally, please contact your local alumni committees to find out if they have a Global Day of Service event organised and how you can get involved.

You can also use King’s Volunteering as a resource to find volunteering opportunities with a range of organisations driving positive change in our communities. Please note that only current King's staff and students can sign up for opportunities through this platform, so you will need to reach out to organisations you are interested in directly.
