Anatomy

Studying Anatomy, Developmental & Human Biology at King’s, you will be part of a multidisciplinary department working to understand the structure and function of the human body, from cells to organ systems, including development, ageing and evolution.

Anatomy is a fundamental subject in the biomedical sciences that fosters creativity, curiosity and critical thinking. Traditional dissection develops widely transferrable practical abilities, as well as skills in exploration, observation, documentation and communication.

Anatomy is central to understanding human variation and is essential to many exciting medical advances, including regenerative medicine and the development of new medical imaging strategies.
