Conference Funds
Research Staff
As part of the new policy on the teaching expectations of research staff, the Faculty of Life Science & Medicine has made available a £500 annual award towards conference funds to research staff who log 30 hours or more on the Education Database.
The Conference Fund is for full-time research staff, to support them in respect of conferences and workshops, research visits and courses or events related to career development. Please apply using the Conference Fund Application form on our internal page. Applications can be submitted anytime from 15th May 2023 to 30th September 2024.

Academics on the Academic Education Pathway
The Centre for Education has made available an annual award of up to £1,000 towards education conference expenses. The aim of the fund is to support scholarship and research in education. The fund is only available to academics within the Centre for Education or contracted on the AEP within the Schools of the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine.
Applicants must be presenting posters or talks and the main theme of the conference will be around Education.Please apply using the Conference Fund Application form on our internal page. Applications can be submitted anytime from 15th May 2023 to 30th September 2024.

Teaching Fellows
The Centre for Education has made available an annual award of up to £1,000 towards education conference expenses. The aim of the fund is to support scholarship and research in education. The fund is available to Teaching Fellows from the Centre for Education and within the Schools of the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine.
