Accessing IDB Samples

To access IDB samples researchers should initially contact the IDB to check on current availability of samples via an email enquiry.

Then a formal request can be submitted to the IDB using the form below from any researchers (academic or commercial). The IDB GC will contact you within one month to inform you whether your request has been granted and to provide you with an ethical decision on your project. You should be aware that the IDB charges to offset costs incurred during the preparation, storage of samples and delivery of samples. A quotation for the charges will be provided and when payment is received by the IDB together with a signed materials transfer agreement form (below), samples will be shipped.
