Pre-clinical imaging

King’s Biomarker Research And Imaging for Neuroscience (BRAIN) centre supports the development and optimisation of translational biomarkers for neurological and psychiatric disorders. Our scientists are committed to translating findings from pre-clinical models into new treatments for human neurological and psychiatric conditions. The newly refurbished unit uses state-of-the-art equipment and techniques designed to solve complex problems in translational research and biomarker development.
Our methodology and equipment can be used to support a diverse range of neuroimaging applications in pre-clinical neuroscience. We can provide support in all areas, from planning experiments to data acquisition, analysis and reporting. The facilities are designed to help you generate and test hypotheses that will enhance and extend your research.
