The Department of Mathematics is located in the Strand Building of the Strand Campus. It is usually a good idea to notify the Department ahead of your visit to ensure that the relevant member of staff will be available to meet with you.
The Professional Services Team are located in the Mathematics Department Office, S5.17, Strand Building, Strand Campus. Normal opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 09:00 - 17:00, Wednesday from 09:00 - 14:00 and Thursday from 09:00 - 16:00 (excluding public holidays and closure days).

Current Students Needing Advice or Support
If you are a current student who needs assistance, please see the current students pages, the handbook and the internal pages. Many questions are answerable via the information provided in these resources.
If you query cannot be answer online, please contact the relevant Programme Administrator or visit the Departmental Helpdesk in S4.17.
If you require support from your Academic Tutor or Programme Director, please contact them directly. Their information can be found on the Academic Staff pages.
Personal Tutors are available to provide academic references for current and former students. Personal Tutors should be given as much advanced notice as possible, and no less than two weeks notice, when requesting a reference. If your Personal Tutor is not available, the Senior Tutor, Professor Tiziana Di Matteo, is available to provide a reference instead.

Completion of Study Confirmation
The Academic Services Boards & Awards Team provide a number of services for current and former students including:
- official transcripts detailing assessments taken and results achieved;
- degree certificates and replacement certificates;
- authenticated copies of degree certificates and/or transcripts;
- education verification for employers and agencies.
