Connections & Outreach

The Department has ongoing partnerships with a variety of cultural and educational organisations, aiming to make philosophy available and relevant beyond the walls of academia.

King’s philosopher Sarah Fine has worked with ice & fire, a human rights theatre company, to develop interactive work on immigration. Sacha Golob has co-founded the Centre for Philosophy and the Visual Arts, and regularly collaborates with the Tate Britain.

Ph.D. student Mike Coxhead has developed a program to bring philosophy to inmates at HMP Bellmarsh. And, through our partnership with The Philosophy Foundation, King’s undergraduate and postgraduate students regularly teach philosophy seminars at underserved schools throughout London.
