Expertise

Expertise represented in the King's Department of Philosophy covers the entire history of philosophy, from the pre-Socratics through to the present day – both the 'Analytic' and 'Continental' traditions, as well as Ancient Greek Philosophy.
  • Philosophy of mind, psychology and language, including expertise in empirically-informed issues. We also have strong links with the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience and with the School of Neuroscience at King's. 
  • Metaphysics, epistemology, and philosophy of science. Our expertise ranges from philosophy of physics to epistemic normativity, including a project in Philosophy and Medicine
  • Moral and political philosophy, with expertise in a variety of issues such as free will, practical normativity, justice and immigration.
