Managing your research data 

This is a series of three one-hour online sessions providing an introduction to research data management. It aims to equip researchers and research support staff with the knowledge and skills they need to manage data more effectively in order to meet the expectations of the university, funders and publishers, and to reduce the risk of breaching legislation and codes of conduct. It includes advice about creating, storing, securing, retaining and disposing of data, and advice on data management planning and data sharing in order to ensure that research data remain accessible for as long as required.  

The content is intended to be useful to a broad audience rather than focusing on a specific domain.

PLEASE NOTE: THE SESSION DOES NOT PROVIDE TRAINING FOR SPECIFIC DATABASE SOFTWARE OR METHODS OF DATA ANALYSIS.
