Quick Guides for Learning and Teaching at King's

King’s Learning Institute supplied learning and teaching quick guides for students and academic staff looking to enhance their learning and teaching at King’s. The guides are research-based and were drawn together by academics in the King's Learning Institute in collaboration with staff in relevant institutes and support services across King’s.

Student presentationStudent-facing quick guides focus on the unique learning opportunities available to students during their time at King’s. These guides highlight advanced academic practices and elite engagement activities that students can get involved in to make the most of their time at King’s; enhancing skills, employability and exam results in the process.

Staff lecturingStaff-facing quick guides serve two purposes; one is a focus on enhancing unique aspects of King’s curriculum, to ensure all students have a research-rich, interdisciplinary, community engaged and globally connected higher education. These guides provide research-based tips on engaging students and developing classroom practices. The second is to supply a reference for general best-practices within a King’s context; for example, using technology for inclusive teaching.
