The School of Security Studies has launched an outreach programme with London-area schools to increase the proportion of under-represented students in higher education and the security sector.
In alignment with King's Social Mobility & Widening Participation strategy, we aim to expand access to university for students from low-income families, areas of low university participation, Black, and some minority ethnic backgrounds, as well as students who are care-experienced, estranged, forced migrants, or young carers.
We want to help you understand the benefits of higher education by introducing you to what is like to study on one of our BA programmes, the skills you will gain and the career opportunities available to you.
If you are interested in continuing to higher education, we want to provide the support you need for successful application and transition to university and to reach your full potential during your undergraduate studies.
Our summer school programme includes expert talks on International Relations, war gaming, open-source intelligence workshops, lunch with alumni and more! Information on 2026 availability will be released in due course.
