The School of Security Studies has launched an outreach programme with London-area schools to increase the proportion of under-represented students in higher education and the security sector.
In alignment with King's Social Mobility & Widening Participation strategy, we aim to expand access to university for students from low-income families, areas of low university participation, Black, and some minority ethnic backgrounds, as well as students who are care-experienced, estranged, forced migrants, or young carers.
We want to help your students understand the benefits of higher education by introducing them to what is like to study on one of our BA programmes, the skills they will gain and the career opportunities available to them.
If they are interested in continuing to higher education, we want to provide the support they need for successful application and transition to university and to reach their full potential during their undergraduate studies.
