Dr Aditi Gupta
Lecturer in Accounting
Dr. Gupta joined the Department in August 2006 as a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance. Her doctoral thesis investigates the role of director reputation in managerial labour markets, specifically the links between executive compensation; executive turnover; outside directorships and firm performance. Aditi’s research focuses on measuring the association between firm performance and changes in director career components. More specifically she examines the extent to which aggregate measures of firm performance influence executive remuneration packages, director turnover and portfolio of outside directorships. Aditi is also interested in exploring the implications of the Higgs review (2003) on the role and effectiveness of non-executive directors.
