Keeping InTouch with King's

New InTouch magazine is out now!
The Autumn/Winter 2025 issue of InTouch is here. The latest edition of our online alumni magazine digs into some of the groundbreaking research and projects happening at King’s and celebrates the journeys and achievements of our alumni community.
Highlights include:
-
Best-selling author and social media influencer Emily English (Nutrition, 2019) shares her time at King’s, tips for eating healthily, and her journey to becoming Em the Nutritionist, now followed by over 2 million people online.
-
To mark the start of UK Disability History Month, we catch up with its founder, Richard Rieser OBE (Geography, 1970), who has championed the rights of people with disabilities since the 1980s.
-
We step inside the newly formed Population Health Institute to explore a central question: How do you know if poor health is just bad luck, genetic fate, or the result of external factors?
-
A peek inside our Visitors Book to remember the great and the good who’ve joined us on campus recently, including former Children’s Laureate Sir Michael Morpurgo (French, English & Philosophy, 1967), Sir Vince Cable, and the Presidents of Estonia and the Republic of Kenya.
As ever, Class Notes is filled with updates from alumni throughout the years – see if you can spot anyone you know. Stories here include:
-
Tabby Bunyan (Spanish and Latin American Studies with Film Studies, 2021) on starting an upcycled textile waste company.
-
Philip Goff (Theology, 1973), the alum who helped Vivienne Westwood create King’s graduation gowns.
-
Highlights from the Physiotherapy Class of 1965’s 60-year reunion.
Explore all the above and much more in our latest issue.
InTouch magazine reaches more 190,000 around the world twice a year, and features articles, interviews, and stories from across our alumni community – from career highlights and leadership lessons to reflections on life at King’s.
