Participatory arts practice to improve and enhance recovery from stroke

The healing potential of the arts and creativity is rich and fertile ground for innovation and so I am delighted that King’s is developing a distinctive approach to this exciting and expanding field of research. Working with the university’s wide network of artist collaborators, I believe that together we can make a positive contribution to the effective use of arts-based approaches in clinical and care settings, across King’s Health Partners and beyond. In this way we will continue to develop world-class, whole-person services and environments for patients, clinicians and healthcare professionals, as well as for the local communities that the university serves.
