Research centres & groups

The research centres bring together members of staff and postgraduate research students from DSD, as well as from other departments across King’s College London, with interests in similar areas. They promote the development and dissemination of new knowledge within their areas through publications and through seminars, workshops, and conferences, as well as through developing and mentoring early career researchers.

Although research in the department covers a very wide range of subjects, DSD has particular concentrations of research in the areas below:

  • History
  • Regional Security
