Our students and faculty members benefit from collaborations and partnerships with film, media, and arts organizations in London, around the UK, and worldwide.

The Department is also constantly involved with innovative and thought-provoking events hosted by cultural institutes and organizations in London. Working with such venues as the British Film Institute (BFI), Tate Modern, the Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA), the French Institute, Korean Cultural Centre London, Japan Foundation, and Lux, members of the Department plan, advise and contribute to film festivals, film screenings, exhibitions, conferences and workshops.

We have established exchange programs and networks in teaching and research with prestigious universities in Europe, North America, and Asia, including Hong Kong University, National University of Singapore, Jawaharlal National University, Concordia University, and Freie Universität Berlin.
