King's College London is the most central university in London including four Thames-side campuses within a single square mile between the Houses of Parliament and London Bridge. King's has links with many of the country's leading cultural and scientific institutions and societies.
Our buildings are equipped with all sorts of facilities to make working life even more enjoyable. For example, King’s provides library services; access to sports facilities, clubs and societies; and themed catering events for staff, serving menus from across the world. Events and lectures are held by different departments on a variety of topics. In addition, King's staff have options to book accommodation.

Email, Intranet and Remote IT Access
King's libraries situated across all campuses, provide access to a significant range of print and electronic information resources and IT services.
The King's collection encompasses over 1.25 million books, thousands of ebooks, scholarly journals and ejournals, and hundreds of databases to help staff find articles and information for their research. Staff also have a premium subscription to FT.com, PressDisplay, Nexis UK, and several newspaper archives (Guardian, Observer, Economist, Times, UKPressOnline, Spectator, New Statesman), and for current market intelligence, Euromonitor Passport.
Library Search is a service that enables staff to simultaneously search across both print and electronic collections.
Information Specialists provide tailored subject support and offer training courses in information skills and bibliographic software.
Archives and Special Collections hold a unique, internationally significant and continually expanding range of archival and printed sources.
King's also participate in a number of schemes allowing access to the collections of other libraries on a regional and national basis, such as access to the facilities of the British Library and Senate House Library.
All staff are provided with an email address and access to the university intranet. The intranet provides staff with access to a range of university policies, procedures and general information. Secure remote access from home to your email and documents is also available.
King's and Partnership NHS Trusts offer a range of catering services including main meals, sandwiches, snacks and desserts. Vegetarian food is widely available, and where possible Halal and vegan diets are provided throughout its many campuses all at reasonable cost.

There are several King's Sport Community Clubs which cater for members of staff and alumni looking to take part in organised sport.
King's Sport staff can help take care of all your sporting needs, whether you're a first time participant, an elite performer or have a fitness level somewhere in between.
There is a 10% discount offered to all King's staff on social sport activities run by GoMammoth.co.uk, the UK's largest provider of indoor and outdoor sports leagues, social fitness classes and social events for adults.
King's is dedicated to the advancement of knowledge, learning and understanding in the service of society. A large number of events are held throughout the year by our departments on a wide range of subjects. Many speakers are at the forefront of their fields.
Although King's is unable to offer accommodation directly to staff on a long-term basis, there may be rooms available for those associated with the university, subject to availability. The University of London Housing Services has some accommodation available to academics in the form of flats, which can be booked for short term and long term.
