Develop distinctive and versatile skills on our interdisciplinary Master's programmes, designed to make you stand out in the job market.

The Culture, Politics and Society MA explores today's key debates both in and out of the classroom, such as language and power, cultures of erasure, digital culture, LGBTQ+ representation, racial capitalism, migration and the concept of the nation state. With our central London base, you can explore real-world examples of these topics at nearby cultural institutions and historical sites, providing a rich real-world experience alongside lectures and seminars.

Our online Global Cultures MA has been designed in response to the increasing need for understanding global cultures, both professionally and personally. Through studying this course, you develop the skills to reflect, articulate and communicate effectively across markers of cultural difference.

Both courses equip you with the ability to connect the dots, solve problems, and analyse and synthesise information in creative and innovative ways. These are invaluable skills for leaders in the modern workplace – especially in a tech-driven world – meaning you have a strong foundation to succeed in your career.

Dr Sara Camacho Felix unpicks the connections between the City of London, the British Empire, and the transatlantic slave trade. She asks how histories of exploitation are remember today, who memorials are for, and what responsibility institutions still hold in the present.
