At undergraduate level we have a range of courses which offer you the chance to study overseas as part of your degree. At postgraduate level we partner with many international law schools.

The School is a founding member of the European Law School Network. The network was established to develop the European Lawyer Programme, a unique programme enabling students to develop a deeper understanding of three legal systems in Europe.

We are also a member of the Law Schools Global League. Established in 2012, the league seeks to stimulate academic debate and cooperation in both education and research concerning the globalisation of law.

The School is also a founding member of the Center for Transnational Legal Studies (CTLS). The Center, a consortium of leading global law schools led by Georgetown University, brings together faculty, students and practitioners from diverse legal cultures to study international, transnational and comparative law.

Europe
Partnerships
The school has dual degree programmes with Humboldt University, University of Paris II Pantheon-Assas, and Universitat Pompeu Fabra. Additionally, students have the option to study in Europe on the Law with a Year Abroad and Politics, Philosophy and Law with a Year Abroad programmes.
Projects and Initiatives
The European Law School Network was established in 2006 by its three founding members (King’s College London, Humboldt University and Université Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas) in order to establish and develop the European Lawyer programme (the ‘Juriste Européen’). University of Rome La Sapienza, University of Amsterdam, Universidade Católica Portuguesa and University of Athens are now part of this prestigious network.
Centre of European Law
The Centre of European Law enjoys a reputation of excellence for its distinguished programme of public events and for its Postgraduate education.
The Centre is at the forefront of EU law scholarship and is closely engaged in the debate concerning the legal aspects of the new UK settlement and the legal implications of Brexit. The Centre proves to be the academic reference point for the BBC and other organizations on this debate and we will continue to be at the forefront of scholarly research and teaching in the field of EU law.
Australasia

The University is a member of the PLuS Alliance, alongside University of New South Wales, Australia, and Arizona State University, United States. We partner with Monash University, University of New South Wales, and University of Auckland for undergraduate study abroad. The School also has a new English Law and Australian Law programme with University of Melbourne, allowing students to obtain a LLB and JD.
Asia
Partnerships
The School has dual degree programmes, leading to an LLB from King’s and either a LLM or JD, with the Chinese University of Hong Kong, the National University of Singapore and the University of Hong Kong.
North America
Partnerships
Second year LLB students can apply to study on our dual degree programme with New York, Georgetown University or Washington DC and gain a JD, as well as a LLB from King's in four years. Students may also spend a semester studying on the LLM programme at Georgetown University through our Law with Transnational Legal Studies Programme.
Latin and South America
King's has important links with Latin America and is currently in the process of developing closer partnerships and collaborations with key institutions in the region. Every year we welcome academics from Latin America as visiting scholars and speakers in our events, particularly in the Transnational Law Institute. Here, Co-Director Dr Octávio Luiz Motta Ferraz works closely with several Latin American institutions and colleagues on collaborative
research and projects.
For example, the Institute's Transnational Legal Clinic has recently worked with international colleagues to deliver an amicus curiae petition to the Colombian Constitutional Court on a human rights case.
