The Dickson Poon School of Law is recognised globally as one of the UK’s premier law schools with a community of nearly 900 undergraduate students from around the globe.

Our teaching is led by internationally respected, leading academics, visiting lecturers and practitioners from global law firms. Our academic staff and their expertise are regularly called upon to advise governments, serve on commissions and public bodies and help to shape policy and practice nationally and internationally. The courses we offer are informed by our research expertise and you are encouraged to engage with issues at the cutting-edge of your studies, giving you the skills and confidence to engage with complex legal issues and global challenges.

We support our students with a range of pastoral care and student wellbeing initiatives including a peer-to-peer support network run for students by students. You are assigned a Personal Tutor for each year of your course and all tutors have weekly feedback, support and advice hours. The university also runs an array of services that you can access including counselling, mental health and funding support.
