King's College London Stroke Forum

London Stroke Forum

The London Stroke Forum has been established as an informal venture between colleagues (both early career investigators and senior staff) with an interest in stroke. This initiative brings together researchers from different backgrounds (basic scientists and clinicians) and departments at King’s College London, and St George’s Healthcare NHS.

The London Stroke Forum seminar series aims to:

  • Bring together existing groups working on stroke research in across London.
  • Encourage networking and collaborations in stroke research across different disciplines spanning basic science, clinical, epidemiology and translational research, and look to promote dissemination of research in local communities across London.
  • Improve the scientific rigour of the stroke research in London and focus on translational topics illustrating the application of research to improve patient health or the health of the local population.

Free membership is open to all researchers working at research institutions in London. Forum seminars are held every two months and followed by a reception.
