Global Health @ King's
Global health is an open and collaborative field of work, study, and activity. A wide range of individuals and groups from across disciplines and departments across King’s are contributing to this dynamic field, in education, research and health partnership work.
The departments and institutes involved in Global Health at King’s form a network for collaboration on the key health and wellbeing issues confronting us in a globalised world. The main focus of the initiative is to harness the expertise of staff in the area of global health broadly defined, drawing on the strong tradition of multi-disciplinary research at King’s and involving a wide range of other disciplines, including sociology, war studies, geography, medical sciences, psychology, and psychiatry.
We are in the process of developing a new area of the website that will make information about courses, events and research in global health across King’s more accessible. Please check back over the coming months to see this network in action.
