Safeguarding

In keeping with our vision and values, King’s Global Health Partnerships (KGHP) is committed to maintaining the highest degree of ethical conduct amongst its staff, volunteers and associated personnel.

KGHP has zero tolerance for any attitudes or behaviours that put our staff, volunteers, those impacted by our programmes, or the wider community we work with at risk.

The following policies and templates outline our safeguarding and whistleblowing framework:

If a safeguarding incident occurs, we are committed to ensuring that it is investigated and followed up on appropriately, with referral to relevant authorities as required.

We strongly encourage any person who is aware of a safeguarding or whistleblowing incident related to our team or programmes to report this either through getting in touch with one of our Designated Safeguarding Officers or by emailing KGHPsafeguarding@kcl.ac.uk.

The KGHP Incident Report Form can be used as a template when submitting an incident if helpful. All KGHP staff and volunteers are obligated to report any potential incident, abuse or concern that they witness, are made aware of, or suspect within 24 hours.
