King's Somaliland Partnership Volunteer Open Evening – Waterloo, 6:30pm, Tuesday 7th March

King’s Somaliland Partnership is holding an open evening for educators, health workers and other professionals interested in contributing to our exciting new Prepared-for-Practice project, which aims to reform Somaliland health education.

The open evening will be a chance to hear how you can get involved and to ask any questions. Volunteering opportunities will include short trips, online courses and distance support. Our model allows UK professionals to contribute to global health education without disrupting their careers. You can donate a couple of hours in the evenings to deliver online support from home or donate a couple of weeks to deliver support in-person in Somaliland. See a video case study of one of our previous projects here.

We are looking for mid-level and senior professionals:

  • Educators, Lecturers and Clinical Teachers
  • Doctors, Nurses and Midwives
  • University Professional Services Staff
  • Health System Regulators
  • Researchers

If you are interested in volunteering, but cannot attend the open evening, please contact max.mallas-secrett@kcl.ac.uk with CV and brief cover note.

King’s Sierra Leone Partnership (KSLP) is also looking to fill funded and volunteer positions with the in-country team in Freetown - find out more on their website.
