King's Centre for Global Health Road Show
The King’s Centre for Global Health is going on the road, showcasing it’s capacity building programmes in Somaliland, Zambia and Sierra Leone.
King’s Health Partners has a strong tradition and a wealth of experience in health-related capacity building. In partnership with individuals and institutions in low income countries, colleagues at King’s work to strengthen and support education and training, clinical services and research in Somaliland, Zambia and Sierra Leone.
The Centre is going through an exciting phase with all three country programmes experiencing significant scale up, providing new opportunities for staff across King’s Health Partners to get involved in a variety of projects and activities.
Come meet the team, hear about our work and discuss opportunities to get involved at any of the following dates:
Tuesday 2nd October – The Henrietta Raphael Function Room, Henrietta Raphael Building, Guy’s Campus 17.30-19.30
Thursday 4th October – The Postgraduate Centre, Weston Education Centre, Denmark Hill 17.30-19.30
Tuesday 9th October – Sky meeting room, Evelina Children’s hospital, St Thomas’ 17.30-19.30
Each event will consist of a series of presentations from the centre director, country leads and previous King’s Health Partners volunteers, followed by a period of networking and discussion with wine and nibbles.
