NMES Students

Our nearly 5000 students are at the heart of everything we do in the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences.

With students from a wide range of backgrounds, faiths, ethnicities, nationalities and experiences, our aim is to inspire, educate and innovate to foster the next generation of scientists and future leaders.

Our friendly and supportive community means that in NMES you are taught by and work with internationally renowned scientists who collaborate across subject boundaries, lead on cutting-edge research, tackle global challenges and answer fundamental questions about our universe.

Our unrivalled central London locations mean you benefit from our close ties with tech, business and science industries, and we are within easy reach of major research libraries and leading scientific societies.

Our societies are innovative, inclusive and supportive communities that aim to enhance your academic prospects by organising technical, career-focussed and social events, providing peer-to-peer support, and working to create strong connections with industry.
