Our world-leading climate researchers study across disciplines to meet the challenges we face at this critical time for our planet.

They work across the UK and globally to understand, inform, create and critique knowledge and practice around the climate emergency and sustainability transitions.

From generating new technologies and business models to empower a sustainable economic future, to detecting wildfires and reducing health risks from climate extremes, the impact of King's research and innovation can be felt across the globe.

Researchers are moving beyond advocacy of problems towards tangible solutions at scale, including informing critical adaptation planning, breaking down and repurposing plastic waste, examining climate impacts on politics, security and conflict, and much more.
